Kris Newbury

Kris Newbury played in the Ontario Hockey League for the Belleville Bulls and the Sarnia Sting scoring 306 points in 306 games. He represented team Canada in the WHC U17 and WHC U18 before moving on to his professional career. Kris’s pro career spanned 15 seasons playing in the NHL, AHL, DEL (Germany) and ECHL for such teams as the Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers and affiliates. He is currently ranked 53rd in total life time points in the AHL and 40th for assists.

Kris has now decided to end his professional playing career and has officially retired from pro hockey. As an extremely driven individual who gave everything he had during his playing career, Kris will now use his extensive hockey knowledge to develop the skills of young players, while teaching them how to take things to the next level. Rodney Bogart

Rodney is co-owner of TLR Sports Therapy. He is a Certified Athletic Therapist CAT(C) with the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association (CATA), as well as a Registered Kinesiologist. Rodney graduated from Sheridan College in 2000, with a diploma in Sports Injury Management. He also holds a BA in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario.

Shortly after graduation from Sheridan, Rodney was employed by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL, as the assistant AT, for the 2000 season. From 2001-2006, Rodney was the head athletic therapist in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL); 4 years with the Soo Greyhounds and one year with the Belleville Bulls.

In 2006 the Tampa Bay Lightning offered Rodney a contract to work with their East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) affiliate Johnstown Chiefs. The following year, Rodney was promoted to be the head athletic therapist of the Norfolk Admirals, of the American Hockey League (AHL). In March 2010, The Locker Room was opened specializing in orthopaedic injuries and sports related problems. In 2013, Rodney completed training in Soft Tissue Release allowing him to provide more manual therapy techniques to his clientele.  In 2015, Rodney volunteered his time at the Pan Am Games in Toronto covering Weight Lifting.  Most recently Rodney has worked with the junior A Trenton Golden Hawks of the OJHL.

Rodney has over 20 years experience specializing in hockey specific injuries and has extensive knowledge of orthopedic injuries related and unrelated to sports. Rodney provides one on one quality care every appointment. He believes individualized focused treatment plans specific to each client needs are crucial to overcoming injuries and achieving client goals. 

Randy Rowe

Randy Rowe was a first round draft pick by the Belleville Bulls (OHL) and played with the team from 1997-2001. Randy went on to score 248 points in 246 games as a Bull, and tied the all-time franchise single season goal scoring records of 64 goals in 63 games in the 2000-01 season. Randy also played 12 years of pro hockey in the AHL & ECHL, and had the role of Captain or Assistant Captain in 10 of the 12 seasons. Randy currently ranks 25th in all time points in the ECHL and was chosen as a member of the ECHL all decade team (2000-2010).

Since Randy’s retirement in 2013, he has been specializing in providing “On & Off Ice Player Development Training” to elite hockey players in the OJHL, OHL, NHL and NCAA. During his playing career, Randy has gained a vast knowledge and experience of the game and excels in player development, scouting and player evaluation. As a member of the World Elite team, Randy hopes to take his years of experience to help develop young professional hockey hopefuls achieve their dreams.
